"Just act natural..."

This from Joshua this afternoon. Um, yeah. So talking with aliens and robots in outer space isn't quite what I would consider a "natural" setting for me, but hey, when you are a 7-year-old boy with a very active imagination...

And last week Ruthi wanted to "play swim." No, not go swimming, but play swim. It took us a while to figure out that she was talking about playing pool on the mini game table the kids got for Christmas! LOL

Last week Ruthi's Papa Norm was looking at a picture she had drawn in her co-op art class and informed her that she was a "budding artist". Apparently she didn't quiet catch the "budding" part because the next day she informed me that Papa said she was a "painting rabbit" (i.e. "bunny" artist).

All Jeremiah's contributing to talk around the Saake household so far is "mamamamamamamamamama" "bye-bye-bye-bye-bye" and "ball" (for anything round like a ball, a light fixture, a ball-oon, or anything that moves along the ground such as our neighbors dogs). Oh, and an occasional "Daddy!" said with great grins and enthusiasm. We think he's working on "brother" too as he seems to have a special fondness of "b" words. :)
